For some years I have been interested in the area of
Cranio Mandibular therapy. This involves correcting bite problems which
cause a wide variety of symptoms such as headaches, migraine, tinnitus
and ‘clicking jaw’ as well as tooth damage and bone loss. This led
me to develop an interest in the way that dental problems are often
interrelated with other systems in the body.
The issue of mercury in dentistry has interested me
for some time and I decided that my practice should become mercury free.
I am an associate member of the Faculty of Homoeopathy and am currently
training at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital for the Diploma in
Dental Homoeopathy.
In the meantime, I continue to extend my knowledge in
the area of Complementary Medicine and to develop a more holistic
approach to dental practice.
I am actively involved in continuing postgraduate
education and belong to several dental study societies in these areas.
The newsletters reflect both advances in this field
and those in mainstream dentistry because complementary dentistry should
enhance and not replace the best techniques.
