A seagull swiped a holidaymaker's false teeth in a gnash and grab raid...

Grin and bear it

BASIL Matthews stared open-mouthed in horror as the bird nicked his bottom dentures from a hotel window in Llandudno, Gwynedd.

The 78-year-old from Ripley, Derbyshire, had put his teeth on the window sill to dry after washing them.

Basil, who was on a short break with his 77-year-old wife Winnie, could only eat soft food for the remaining three-and-a-half days of their five-day holiday.

He told The Sun: "I had to make do with soup and ice cream. I also had to keep my mouth shut in case I frightened any other guests."
