The first step is the
placement of the titanium implants. The implants will remain
covered underneath the gum for approximately 3 to 6 months.
During this time osseointegration takes place.
|
 |
The second stage of
the procedure involves uncovering the implants and attaching
connections. Later in the treatment, a bar will be affixed to
these connections, completing the foundation on which your
removable restoration will be fixed.
|
 |
The final step is the
placement of your restoration. With techniques that ensure
optimal size, shape, colour and fit, this removable restoration
will blend with your facial characteristics, while providing
support needed for a natural appearance. |
You should expect the implant treatment to take from
around three to six months. However, depending on your individual oral
situation. the healing period can be significantly reduced.
During the healing period you will receive temporary
dentures, allowing you to enjoy a normal lifestyle while waiting for your
permanent teeth.
With good oral hygiene, dental implants are a lasting
solution. Just like natural teeth!
Daily brushing and flossing combined with regular
check-ups at your dentist is the best way to get the most out of your
dental implants.
