At
KAREDENT™ we're in the happy business of making people smile - people
who never used to smile, because the problem of missing one or more
teeth stole away their confidence, their good looks, their enjoyment of
social life and even of good food.
For many of us, implant treatment for missing teeth is
a new concept; something we never imagined possible. In an age of
medical breakthroughs and longer, healthier living, it shouldn't be
surprising that lost teeth no longer means dentures floating in a glass. Science offers a better solution.

| Per-Ingvar Brånemark |
The success of Nobel Biocare Dental Implants is based
on one ingenious discovery made in the early
1950's by Swedish scientist Per-Ingvar Brånemark. He observed that
titanium, a very strong and lightweight metal, will integrate with the
natural jaw bone tissue , thereby creating a platform for permanent
teeth replacements.
Professor Brånemark completed his first dental
implant case on a patient in 1965, putting a big smile on the face of
Gösta Larsson. The method has now been documented for 35 years and in
that time Nobel Biocare has created more than a million new smiles
around the world.
And Mr Larsonn's smile is still making a lasting
impression.
